Lena Gidwani

Lena GidwaniLena Gidwani brings over eight years of in-demand experience as a voice talent and anchor in Sydney, Singapore and Guangzhou. She has done voice-over work and narration for radio, TV, and corporate use, as well as hosting various TV shows and live events.

Lena is currently a TV anchor at the Guangzhou English Channel and freelances for magazines, newspapers and publications around the world. Whether she's behind the mic in a booth or on stage in front of a live audience, Lena lights up the room and loves to shine! Now, hundreds of shoots and thousands of voice sessions later, Lena presents herself as a superb voice artist and as a polished and extremely versatile on-camera presence.

Armed with an undergraduate degree in Business and Communications from the University of Technology Sydney and a Masters degree in marketing and PR from the University of Southern Queensland, Lena moved back to her hometown, Singapore, to work as a PR consultant. Through her involvement with media and modeling agencies, she was exposed to voiceover work. Clients included HSBC, Coles Australia, Passion Pty, SMRT, and others. Lena also hosted a weekly radio show.

Her desire to travel and explore new options led her to Guangzhou, China. After several modeling, hosting and writing projects, Lena worked as Listings Editor for that’s PRD, a regional magazine for the expatriate community. Lena continues to work for that’s PRD, with dedicated columns such as "Ask Lena", "Local Custom", and more. Lena is also currently hosts "Discover Guangzhou", "Expat Chat", "Happy Together", and other specials on the Guangzhou English Channel. She has also worked with the Singapore Tourism Board to help promote Singapore as a tourism destination, and with Passion Pty, to promote Sydney, Australia.

Given her penchant for public speaking, Lena has also hosted several live events for that’s PRD, including the Guangzhou Music Festival, anniversary parties, and corporate events. Voiceover clients include government bodies, Radio Foshan, educational institutes and private companies. Lena continues to write on a freelance basis and her articles have appeared in the Guangzhou Morning Post, China Daily, Golf Digest, Expat Living, and Beyond. With many years of experience and success in a successful blend of hosting and voiceovers, Lena is poised to deliver professional results.
